The following are examples of bookings we have
previously undertaken:
Restaurant Performances
Two to three dancers will perform a number of ten- to fifteen-minute
sets throughout the evening. The flavour of dance and costume
can be adapted to suit the venue and occasion. Diners are
usually invited up to dance.
Corporate/Social Evening Entertainment
Depending on the size and length of the event, any number of dancers
from two to ten are available for a varied performance incorporating
up to the full range of specialities within Bodhaia Tribal. This
includes classic tribal bellydance (ATS), tribal fusion, contemporary
tribal, american cabaret, egyptian, upbeat turkish, african, sword,
skirt, candle/palm flame, solo, duets, and group performances.
Audience participation if required.
Daytime Workshops
Ideal to run alongside conferences, lectures, and other corporate
events as entertainment for accompanying family members, we can
provide workshops in any number of our dance styles and prop specialities,
suitable for complete beginners. These can run individually
or as a series over a number of days. This is also a great
option for schools, PCTs, LAs and other bodies running initiatives
to promote healthy lifestyles.
Daytime Performances
Festivals, street fairs, cafes, carnivals, themed events... in
schools, halls, churches, fields, car parks, pavements, market
squares, libraries, shopping centres, forests, marquees, even
on a trailor! You name it, we've done it!
Nightclub Performances
We Have A Dark Side! With or without the fire (British Health
and Safety!), we can turn our dance into a wonderfully gothic,
industrial affair. Costumes, music, dance moves... they
are all adapted accordingly.
Hen Parties
One to two dancers will put on a performance for your party.
This will be followed by a fun mini-lesson of dance moves.
Sorry, but we will not perform or teach at all-male events.
